In 1965 polo was played again in Scotland on the Earl of Dundee's Birkhill Estate in Fife among a few friends and on many and variable grounds.
In 1972 the club moved to its present location inside the racecourse at Scone Palace in Perthshire.
One of the many features of the Club throughout its history has been the number of visiting teams who have played here. Tournaments have been played against countries as far away as Canada, America, Kenya, Ghana, India, Peru, Malta and Ireland.
The picture to the right shows a game being played in 1978 between Balthayock and Birkhill at the Grange Polo ground. The rider at the front is none other than Prince Charles. His team won that day by one and half goals.
